• "After8", "we", "us", "our" means Third Room LLP, a limited liability partnership having its registered office at 5/1401, Vasant Lawns, Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
• "Platform" means the After8 website, dashboard, and associated services through which events including Strangers Dinner, Lectures on Tap, Business Coaching, and Founders Circle are offered.
• "User", "you", "your" means any individual who accesses, registers on, or attends an event through the Platform.
• "Event" means any curated experience organised, listed, or facilitated by After8, whether accessed via a one-off ticket or a subscription.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and After8 under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By accessing the Platform, creating an account, RSVPing to an Event, or making a payment, you unconditionally accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872. After8 reserves the right to request proof of age at any stage and to refuse registration, cancel an RSVP, or deny entry to an Event where eligibility cannot be verified, without liability to After8.

• Browsing Events on the landing page does not require account creation.
• Registration, RSVP, or subscription purchase requires you to furnish your name, gender, age, occupation, and a mobile number verified by OTP.
• You may authenticate via Google sign-in or an email and password combination of your choosing.
• A one-time personality assessment is mandatory per account and is reused across all future RSVPs. It must be completed no later than 2 days prior to an RSVP'd Event, or prior to activating any benefit under a subscription.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You must notify After8 immediately of any unauthorised use.

• An RSVP is a request to attend and does not guarantee a specific seating arrangement, table, or attendee group; After8 retains sole discretion over curation, including through use of your personality assessment results.
• There is presently no capacity limit imposed on RSVPs; After8 may introduce capacity limits at its discretion without prior notice.
• After8 reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or materially alter an Event at its sole discretion, including for reasons of insufficient RSVPs, venue unavailability, force majeure, or safety concerns (Section 13).
• Returning, logged-in Users may RSVP to subsequent Events directly, without repeating registration or the personality assessment, provided their account remains in good standing.

Once a User has RSVP'd and completed payment for a one-off Event ticket, the transaction is final and non-refundable, irrespective of the reason for non-attendance, save where required otherwise under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or rules made thereunder.

Where After8 cancels, postpones, or materially reschedules an Event, affected Users will be offered rescheduling to an alternate date or a comparable future Event, at After8's discretion. No cash refund shall be payable in such circumstances, save where mandatorily required under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or rules made thereunder.

6.3 No refund shall be payable where a User is denied entry or removed from an Event for breach of the Code of Conduct (Section 9).

• After8 offers subscription tiers, including Gold, Platinum, and Founders Circle, each with inclusions and pricing as displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions may be configured to auto-renew through our payment aggregator, Razorpay, in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India's e-mandate framework for recurring payments, which requires pre-debit notification to you before each auto-renewal charge.
• You may cancel auto-renewal at any time prior to the applicable renewal date through your dashboard; cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle and does not entitle you to a refund of the current cycle.
• Subscription purchase grants immediate access to the dashboard and associated benefits.
• Subscription fees, once paid, are non-refundable, including in the event of early cancellation, non-usage, or downgrade by the User.

All payments are processed through Razorpay, a Reserve Bank of India-authorised payment aggregator. After8 does not store your complete card, UPI, or net-banking credentials. In the event of a failed, disputed, or charged-back payment, After8 reserves the right to suspend the associated RSVP, subscription, or account pending resolution.

After8 Events are curated social experiences that depend on the safety and comfort of all participants. By attending an Event, you agree to:

• Treat fellow attendees, hosts, and venue staff with courtesy and respect
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or any conduct that is abusive, threatening, or unlawful
• Comply with venue rules and reasonable instructions issued by After8 staff or hosts

After8 reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to refuse entry, remove any attendee from an Event, or suspend/terminate an account for breach of this Code of Conduct, without refund (Section 6.3).

Your personality assessment responses are used exclusively to curate Event groupings and personalise recommendations, as further described in our Privacy Policy. Such data is not sold, rented, or used for any purpose beyond that disclosed therein.

All content, trademarks, event formats, curation methodology, and proprietary processes appearing on the Platform are the exclusive property of After8 or its licensors and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. No User may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from such content without After8's prior written consent.

Photographs or recordings captured at an Event may be used by After8 for promotional purposes, subject to disclosure and consent obtained at the relevant Event.

12.1 After8 curates and facilitates Events but does not own, operate, or control the venues at which Events are held. To the maximum extent permitted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable law, After8's aggregate liability arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform or attendance at an Event shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant Event or subscription in the preceding three (3) months, save in cases of After8's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

12.2 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless After8, its founders, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or liability arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misconduct at an Event.

After8 shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disaster, pandemic, government action, civil unrest, or venue unavailability. Where an Event is affected by a force majeure event, Section 6.2 shall apply.

After8 may suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion, including for breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, or suspected fraudulent activity, without prior notice and without refund of any unused subscription period. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting After8 through the Platform.

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation within thirty (30) days of written notice. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by After8, with the seat and venue of arbitration at Mumbai, Maharashtra, and the proceedings conducted in the English language. This clause shall not preclude a User from approaching a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, where applicable.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to Section 15, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or arbitral tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and After8 regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior understandings. No failure or delay by After8 in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver thereof.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without After8's prior written consent. After8 may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of its assets.

After8 may amend these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. Material changes affecting subscription pricing or refund rights will be separately notified to active subscribers.
